England thump Pakistan by 7th wickets, win series 2-0

England played a dominant display to defeat Pakistan with a convincing seven-wicket margin in the last T20I winning 2-0 in the series victory. The game took place in The Oval in London on Wednesday, May 30.

Bowling Sets the Stage

England’s bowlers shined through the whole match, holding Pakistan to a tinier number of 157 runs. The pacer Mark Wood and spinner Adil Rashid were the main bowlers and took crucial wickets during crucial times. A disciplined and well-organized bowling attack made England in an excellent position to close on the targets.

Openers Deliver Quick Fire

In pursuit of a small goal, the openers from England, Phil Salt and Jos Buttler, took the field to the skies. They unleashed an abrasive batsman display that put the Pakistani bowlers under tremendous stress. Both batsmen capitalized upon the mistakes in fielding to score easily, placing England in an excellent position.

Malan Seals the Series Win

As Salt and Buttler perished after creating a solid base, Dawid Malan continued the attack with a flawless one-day score of 78, not out. England hit the mark with just 27 balls left winning the series through a stunning victory.

This victory will put England in good stead ahead of the forthcoming T20 World Cup in the United States and the Caribbean.
