About the Role:
As a Field Assistant, you will be an integral part of a National Geographic-funded project, assisting researchers with various field activities. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with data collection in diverse field environments
- Maintaining and preparing research equipment
- Recording observations and data accurately
- Working effectively as part of a team
- Following safety protocols and adhering to research ethics
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. degree in Biology or a related field (e.g., Ecology, Environmental Science)
- Experience conducting fieldwork (desirable)
- Familiarity with handling GIS platforms and working with climate data (desirable)
- Experience conducting connectivity analyses (desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to research
