Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical). This is a contractual position funded by the ICMR.

Responsibilities:

  • Research “Analysis of tumor characteristics and therapeutic strategies for β-hCG positive Breast Cancer Patients from Kerala using microfluidic organ-on-a-chip culture device”
  • Contribute to the development and execution of research protocols
  • Analyze and interpret data
  • Prepare research reports and publications

Qualifications:

  • First-class Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, Nanobiotechnology, or Zoology) OR an equivalent qualification
  • Experience in cell culture techniques and microfluidic devices is desirable
