KVS Admission 2024.25 Schedule
Starting today at 10 am, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) is going to start the registrations for Classes 1 to 12 for the academic year 2024.25. They’ve updated on a new website, kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in, specifically for Class 1 admissions in 2024. For Class 1, you can apply until April 15, while for Classes 2 and above, the deadline is April 10. Therefore, the registration process for Class 11 will be started 10 days after announcing the Class 10 board exam results for 2024.
The admission board KVS will post lists of registered students, eligible aspirants, and those provisionally selected on their website. They’ll also show the waiting list and any other lists needed. Kendriya Vidyalaya will need to use the OLA portal for class 1 admissions, but for other grades, they’ll do it offline.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for Class 1.12 in Kendriya Vidyalaya?
KVS will select the students for Class 1 admission 2024 in three parts: the list of the selected candidates will be released first on April 19, second on April 29, and third on May 8. The select list for KVS Class 2.11 admission will be announced on April 15, 2024.
You can apply for admission to classes 2 to 11 until April 29, and the last date for admission is June 29.
For Class 1 admission in 2024, children need to be at least 6 years old by March 31 and not older than 8 years. KVS has changed the age limits for Class 1 admission in the 2022.23 session. Children with special needs can get a 2.year relaxation.
There’s no age limit for the students of Class 11th and 12th admission as long as students apply in the year, they all students pass the Class 10 exam for Class 11 and continue their studies without a break after passing Class 11 for Class 12.
Documents needed for enrolling in KVS Class 1 for the 2024.25 academic year:

- Scanned copy of the child’s birth Certificate
- Government certificate for Economic Weaker section applicants
- Child’s Aadhar Card
- Scanned photograph of the child
- Transfer details of the parents/grandparents (if applicable)

- Visit the KVS Admission Portal at kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
- Click on “Register” on the official portal carefully read all instructions and accept the terms and conditions.
- Fill in all the required details accurately on the new page that appears.
- Verify your mobile number through the OTP process after filling in the details.
- Log in to your account using your username, mobile number, and password.
- Select the class for which you want to register.
- Fill out the appearing form with all correct information and upload all required documents.
